Longtime New Jersey Rep. Bill Pascrell Dies At 87
Rep. Bill Pascrell, a Democrat who served in Congress for almost 30 years and was a former Mayor of Paterson, died on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the age of 87, his family announced.
"It is with deep sadness that we announce that Bill Pascrell Jr., our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away this morning," his family wrote on social media.

Missing Paramus Mom Found, Details Remain Vague
After a search that surpassed 24 hours, Paramus resident Heather Mashini has been found.
The 39-year-old Mashini was found Saturday night, Aug. 3, more than a day after she'd been reported missing, Paramus police said.
Police did not disclose Mashini's condition, nor did they say where she was found.
Mashini had last been seen on Friday, Aug. 2 around 1:30 p.m., police said, who did not release her condition.

Former Bergen Courthouse Secretary, Paramus Mom Tracy Keenan Dies After Longtime Lupus Battle
Tracy Keenan, a 46-year-old mom from Paramus, died on Tuesday, July 2, after years of battling lupus, according to her obituary.
Tracy was born in Belleville and grew up in Park Ridge, graduating from Park Ridge High School, her obituary on the Vander Plaat Funeral Home website reads. She later worked at the Bergen County Courthouse in Hackensack as a secretary for 10 years, according to her obituary.

Wrong-Way Crash Kills 2, Injures 1 On Garden State Parkway In Paramus, State Police Say
Two people were killed and one person was injured in a wrong-way crash on the Garden State Parkway overnight in Paramus, authorities confirmed.
Diana J. Cruz, 38, of Newark, was heading north in the southbound lanes of the Parkway when she struck a Toyota SUV head-on just before 2:30 a.m. at milepost 163.4 on Friday, July 5, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
Both Cruz and the Toyota driver, Sunday T. Ogundare, 55, of Newark, were killed, Lebron said. A passenger in the Toyota, a 20-year-old Pompton Plains woman, was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
