A Facebook Marketplace listing helped police identify a motorcyclist accused of fleeing a traffic stop at a high rate of speed through Sussex County, authorities said. Newton Patrolman Brandon Posey attempted to stop a motorcycle during the early morning hours of April 28 after observing a motor vehicle violation, the department said. The motorcycle pulled into the parking garage at 225 Spring Street before the operator allegedly refused commands and sped off, according to police. Two North Jersey residents were arrested in separate shoplifting incidents days apart in Hasbrouck Heights, including one suspect accused of stealing from the same store twice, authorities said.
