State police have released new details on a fiery crash involving an ice cream truck and a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike in East Rutherford, Tuesday, Aug 20.
Troopers responded at 3:18 p.m. to the northbound western spur at milepost 112.2 in Bergen County, Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

A 35-year-old woman from Wisconsin was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 287 in Somerset County late Saturday, June 21, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded around 10:19 p.m. to the northbound lanes near milepost 28.4 in Bernards Township, Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Volkswagen passenger car were both traveling north when, near milepost 28.4, the Harley-Davidson impacted the Volkswagen, Marchan said.
As a result of the collision, the vehicles ran off the road to the right, Marchan said.

Jonathan "Johnny" Rodriguez-Pluchino, of Oakland, was driving north on Route 287 when his car veered off the road and struck several trees near milepost 65.4 around 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, according to State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
Rodriguez-Pluchino suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
