A 32-year-old woman was charged after police say she carried out a retail theft scheme across multiple TJX stores in North Jersey. On Tuesday, July 29, TJX loss prevention reported to Lyndhurst police that Breanna Britt, 32, of Linden, fraudulently received a store value card worth $299.93 “by conducting a non-receipted return with stolen merchandise” at the Lyndhurst TJ Maxx on July 16, Lyndhurst Police Capt. More than a quarter-million brunch-themed stroller toys have been recalled after babies were found with broken pieces of the toy egg in their mouths. Fisher-Price issued the recall for about 253,000 Brunch & Go Stroller Toys, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, April 10. About 4,500 toys were also sold in Canada. Toxic Chemical Found In Children's Jewelry Kits Triggers Massive Recall By NJ Company
A New Jersey toy company is recalling hundreds of thousands of children's jewelry design kits because the crafts have a toxic resin. LaRose Industries recalled about 224,100 Cra-Z-Art Gemex and Gel2Gem kits, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a news release on Thursday, Mar. 27. The agency said the jewelry kits contain a chemical banned in children's products, violating the Federal Hazardous Substances Act.
