79-Year-Old Man Kicks Teen At NJ Transit Station: Officials
A 79-year-old New York City man was arrested after he kicked a teenage girl at an NJ Transit station in Bergen County over the weekend, authorities said.
New Jersey Transit Police were notified of a possible assault at the Park Ridge station at approximately 2:05 p.m., Sunday, March 23, according to an NJ Transit spokesperson.
There, they found that Neil Greenberg, 79, of New York, NY, kicked a 15-year-old girl who was sitting on the stairs of a multilevel train, the spokesperson said. Greenberg was charged with assault and taken into custody, authorities said.

Four men have been charged including one who remains at large following a year-long investigation into an armed robbery in Edgewater, authorities said.
The investigation stems from a robbery that occurred on Thursday, June 13, 2024, around 7:50 p.m., at a commercial parking lot on River Road, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Friday, Aug. 1.

A curfew has been installed in Seaside Heights after more than 70 people were arrested amid multiple stabbings on the boardwalk Memorial Day weekend.
Three people were stabbed and 52 adults and 21 juveniles were arrested between 6 a.m. Friday, May 23 and 6 a.m. Monday, May 26, Seaside Heights Detective Steve Korman said.
On Saturday, May 24, at 8 p.m., officers responded to the Ocean Block of Webster Avenue and found a 21-year-old stabbed in the back, Korman said. The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital and declined to cooperate with police, Korman said.

A juvenile was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 14 after they assaulted two police officers in Clinton Township, authorities said.
Officers responded to a family dispute on Runkie Drive after a juvenile threatened family members, Clinton Township police said.
