Man Purposely Hit Goose With E-Bike, Hoboken Police Say A 30-year-old Hoboken man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Sept. 11 after he intentionally hit a goose with an e-bike, authorities said. At 5:35 p.m., officers responded to Pier A park on reports that a person hit a goose on purpose with a bike, Hoboken police said. Police found Andrew Mullin, who fit the description of the individual, and arrested him, officers said. Mullin was charged with cruelty to animals and issued  summons for riding an e-bike on a walkway, police said. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, police said.

North Bergen Man Busted In Murder-For-Hire Plot: Hudson Prosecutor A North Bergen man was charged with a murder-for-hire scheme involving “a female known to” him. Miguel Cortes, 37, was arrested outside his Paterson Plank Road home on Tuesday, May 14, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. North Bergen police caught wind of Cortes’s alleged offer of money for the deed, the prosecutor said in announcing the arrest on Friday.
