A family dog was rescued following at a house fire at a home in East Hanover on Sunday, Nov. 2, authorities said. Firefighters responded to a house fire at 1 Preston Ave. and were able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire, preventing further damage to the home, East Hanover police said.
