A Long Branch police officer is being honored after he rescued a man from a burning home, his department announced Tuesday, Nov. 25.
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, officer Ivan Guzman responded to a fire at 869 Van court Ave., where he encountered heavy smoke coming from the second floor, Captain Jorge Silverio said.
