Man Stabs Brother Dead During Fight At Family's South Jersey Home: Prosecutor
A 26-year-old Willingboro man has been charged in the stabbing death of his brother. Carl Agyemang stabbed his brother, Floyd Agyemang, 23, during an argument at their family's home on Hepburn Lane in Willingboro around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Acting Public Safety Director Ian Bucs said. Floyd Agyemang was found by responding officers with a stab wound to his chest. Motorcyclist Killed In Late Night Crash In South Jersey, State Police Say
A Lanoka Harbor man died when his motorcycle crashed late at night in Burlington County, authorities said. Andrew Uveges, 31, was killed in the wreck on County Route 542 in Washington Township on Sunday, Aug. 25, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 14.8 at around 9:58 p.m. Investigators said Uveges was riding west on a Harley-Davidson when his motorcycle went off the road to the right and overturned. A 42-year-old high school paraprofessional from Burlington County has been arrested after authorities say he tried to convince a student to have sex. Michael Van Kline, of Lumberton, who worked at Seneca High School in Tabernacle, used social media to converse with the student, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said. A man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison after beating a Highland Park man to death with a baseball bat in Burlington County, authorities said. Larry Brown, 29, was sentenced on Tuesday, Aug. 20 to 90 years in prison, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said in a news release. A boy was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train early Thursday, Aug. 8 in Burlington County, officials said. The crash happened just before 8:20 a.m. and involved a northbound River LINE train at Chestnut Street crossing in Palmyra, NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba said.
