More than two dozen people were without homes and six first responders were injured after a fire destroyed several apartments in Pine Hill, according to officials and reports. Woman Rescued From Roof 'Lost Everything' In South Jersey House Fire: Fundraiser
A Delanco Township woman was sedated in a hospital after she was rescued from a roof on her burning home, officials said. Firefighters responded to the home on the 300 block of Burlington Avenue at around 4:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, the Delanco Fire Company said in a Facebook post. Delanco police officers rescued a woman from a porch roof before fire crews arrived. : South Jersey Police Officer Saved Fire Victim's Life, Chief Says
A police officer from South Jersey is credited with saving the life of a resident during a recent fire. The fire broke out at about 4 p.m. on June 16 on the 1800 block of Sagemore Drive in Evesham.
