New details have been released in an October pursuit crash that killed a 20-year-old Virginia man in New Jersey, officials said. Scott Segreaves was operating a vehicle on Water Street in Milford Borough when New Jersey State Police Staff Sergeant Nicholas Pryszlak attempted to catch up to his car in connection with a speeding violation on Oct. 28, the State Attorney General's Office said this week. NJ Crossing Guard Struck, Killed On-Duty: Prosecutor
A High Bridge crossing guard and veteran firefighter was fatally struck by a vehicle while on duty Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. Robert "Bob" Bork, 75, was hit by a southbound vehicle on CR 513 at the intersection of Larrison Avenue around 12:10 p.m., according to the High Bridge Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. Emergency responders, including local police, fire departments, and the Forensic Analysis Collision Team (F.A.C.T.), rushed to the scene. A 38-year-old Warren County man was charged on Wednesday, Oct. 23 for defrauding a 91-year-old man who loaned him money, after having settled the case in court, Daily Voice has learned. In May 2021, a 91-year-old Clarksburg resident loaned Asbury resident Christopher Sterlacci $400,000, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson and Hunterdon County Chief of Detectives Timothy Drew said. A man who has been on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list for a 2009 armed robbery of a New Jersey restaurant has been captured in California. Kofi Edwards, 51, was arrested without incident in Sacramento, CA following a tip from the public, the FBI's Newark Central Jersey Safe Streets Task Force announced. Details Released In Deadly Dump Truck Crash In North Jersey Town
Authorities have released details in a dump truck crash on Route 31 in Clinton Township that left one person dead on Tuesday, June 18. A 66-year-old man was operating a dump truck that collided with a Toyota sedan driven by a 64-year-old woman around 2:20 p.m. in front of Riley and Jake's Restaurant, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said.
