North Plainfield Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash: Berkeley Heights Police A 55-year-old North Plainfield resident was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Berkeley Heights on Wednesday, Nov. 13, authorities said. The crash occurred at Plainfield Avenue near Connell Corporate Park, Berkeley Heights police said. The man, whose identity is being withheld by police, was taken to Overlook Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Man Killed In Fiery Overnight Newark Crash A man was killed in a fiery crash early Sunday, Oct. 27 in Newark, police said. The male driver was found inside a vehicle that caught fire after crashing into a tree and colliding through a nearby residential gate at Weequahic Avenue near Bergen Street around 3:30 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Firefighters extinguished the fire and the man was pronounced dead. No other injuries have been reported. No further information is available.

The unidentified male was struck by an Acura sedan while trying to cross the roadway in the northbound lanes around 8:05 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Scooterist Killed In Route 280 Crash: Njsp A 32-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter on Route 280 in Newark on Sunday, Aug. 4, authorities aid. At 4:17 a.m., the man was operating an electric scooter on Route 280 East when he was struck by a Chrysler, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police man. The man, whose name has not been identified pending next of kin notification, sustained fatal injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Two Motorcyclists Killed In Four-Vehicle Crash On Route 78 Two motorcyclists were killed in a four-vehicle crash on Route 78 in Union County on Sunday, June 2, authorities said. At 6:06 p.m., a Lexus SUV, Honda passenger vehicle, BMW motorcycle and Suzuki motorcycle were traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Berkeley Heights when the BMW struck the back of the Honda, causing the Suzuki to strike the back of the BMW, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
