A small plane crashed near Lakewood's airport, leaving four passengers injured, authorities said. Officers received a call about the crash at the Lakewood Township Municipal Airport just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, a Lakewood Police Department spokesperson said. A Point Pleasant man was accused of stealing and crashing a plane in Atlantic County, authorities said. Robert Wagner, 42, was arrested in Corbin City on Wednesday, Aug. 7, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious man walking out of the woods near Main Street. The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The pilot was alone on board, the FAA said.
