Gun stores in Cumberland and Morris counties have been sued by New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin for selling ammunition to unverified buyers. A Marlton boy was accused of starting a wildfire that threatened more than a dozen homes in Burlington County, authorities said. A Rosenhayn man who owned a car repair business was killed in a crash in Cumberland County, authorities said. Andrew Panichelli, 34, died in the Upper Deerfield Township crash on Friday, Nov. 8, a state police spokesperson said. An Egg Harbor Township woman was killed while crossing a road on Veterans Day, authorities said. Sharon Parker, 78, died in the crash on Monday, Nov. 11, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Man Who Sexually Abused Kids For 8+ Years In South Jersey Home Sentenced, Prosecutors Say
A Pennsauken man will spend at least two dozen years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting two children, authorities said. Henry Parker, 72, was sentenced on Thursday, Nov. 7 to 27 years in state prison, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release. A jury found Parker guilty on Friday, June 14.
