Teen Was Speeding, Blew Stop Sign In Clinton Crash That Killed Sophia Detorres: Prosecutor A 17-year-old Clinton Township resident has been charged on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in connection with a crash in August in Franklin Township that killed 16-year-old Sophia Detorres on the first day of school. An investigation found that the driver was speeding and failed to stop at a designated stop sign just before the collision at Hogback Road and Lower Lansdown Road in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson and Chief of Detectives Timothy Drew, said.  Detorres was among three juvenile passengers in the vehicle, and two other cars were involved in the crash…
