18-Year-Old Killed Man, 22, In Central Jersey Shooting: Prosecutors
A Sayreville teen was accused of shooting and killing another man, authorities said. Daniel Adediran, 18, was arrested in the case, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release on Friday, Aug. 30. Jeremiah Brown, 22, died in the shooting on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Sayreville police responded to a 911 call about the shooting on Swider Drive at around 9:49 p.m. Officers found Brown with a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Man Fired Shot During Domestic Dispute In South Jersey Apartment Building, Police Say
A Willingboro man was accused of firing a shot during a domestic dispute in Marlton, authorities said. Dion Williams, 23, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 27, the Evesham Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers were called to a domestic violence report in a building at the Olympus Apartment Homes at around 1:30 p.m. Investigators said police found one round had been fired from a gun. Atlantic City Robbery Fugitive Arrested On NJ Transit Train, Police Say
A Galloway Township man wanted in an Atlantic City robbery was taken into custody on a New Jersey Transit train, authorities said. Manuel Alicea, 30, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 26, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. He was captured on the train at the Egg Harbor City station. Police said Alicea was a fugitive wanted for pistol-whipping a man on the 1100 block of Arctic Avenue on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Police in one New Jersey beach town have released bodycam footage showing the arrest of a 28-year-old California surfer, which went viral on Facebook earlier this week. Belmar Police Chief Tina Scott released the 6-minute video of Liam Mahoney's arrest captured on Officer Braswell's body-worn camera on Tuesday, Aug. 20. A former teacher at an Ocean County performing arts high school was accused of molesting a female student, authorities said. Man Arrested For Masturbating At Bridgewater Target: Police
A 21-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged on Thursday, Aug. 8 with masturbating at a Target in Bridgewater earlier this month, police said. On Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7:21 p.m., Jason Banks was seen exposing his genitals and gratifying himself in the toy aisle of the Target on Promenade Boulevard, Bridgewater police said in a release. A week later, police located Banks and arrested him after conducting an interview, officers said. He was charged with lewdness and lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, police said.

A 45-year-old Franklin man was arrested for DWI on the early morning of Sunday, Aug. 11, after he was observed driving 10 miles below the speed limit, authorities said.
