Franklin Township Woman, 20, Dies After Truck Hit Her While Crossing Road: Police
A Franklin Township woman died a few days after she was struck while crossing a road in Malaga, authorities said. Elishama Louis, 20, died from her injuries on Monday, Oct. 14, the Franklin Township Police Department said in a news release. She was hit on Delsea Drive near the Riggins and Wawa gas stations on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Prosecutor's Office Sergeant Killed In South Jersey Home Invasion: 'Truly Devastating'
A Cumberland County detective was shot and killed during a home invasion in Bridgeton, authorities said. Sgt. Monica Mosley, 51, died late at night on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. She was a member of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. A Franklin Township woman was critically injured when she was hit while crossing a road in Malaga, authorities said. The 20-year-old woman was struck near the Riggins and Wawa gas stations, the Franklin Township Police Department said in a news release on Friday, Oct. 11. Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing and a house fire in Bridgeton, authorities said. Bridgeton police responded to a 27-year-old man who arrived at Inspira Hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 5, the department said in a news release. Police have identified the 19-year-old swimmer who drowned in a New Jersey lake over the weekend. Daniel Miranda, of San Marcos, Guatemala, was taken to Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, where he was pronounced dead, Elk Township police said.
