Dog Rescued After Fire Tears Through South Jersey Townhome, Firefighters Say Firefighters rescued a dog when a fire broke out in a two-story townhome in Gloucester Township, officials said. Crews responded to the fire on Kingswood Place in the Cherrywood section on Monday, Dec. 16, the Blackwood Fire Company said in a Facebook post. Firefighters arrived just after 3 p.m. to find heavy smoke and flames pouring from the second floor of the townhome. Illegal ATV Driver Seriously Injured In Reckless Black Horse Pike Crash, Police Say An ATV driver was seriously injured after police say he drove recklessly along Black Horse Pike and crashed in Gloucester Township Friday, Aug. 16. The four-wheeled ATV operator was found lying in the roadway while the ATV itself had come to rest in a nearby wooded area near Clementon Avenue around 6:35 p.m., local police said. Police say the driver had "unlawfully and recklessly" operated the ATV on the Black Horse Pike. As a result of this reckless driving, the driver lost control and was ejected from the ATV. Head-On Crash Sends 3 To Hospital With Serious Injuries In Gloucester Township, Police Say Three people were hospitalized with serious injuries in a head-on crash in Camden County late Tuesday, June 18, police said. Two vehicles had collided head-on on Erial Blehnheim Road in Gloucester Township just before midnight, the impact of which caused one car to overturn, police said.  Two drivers and one passenger were taken to local hospitals with serious bodily injuries.
