A 41-year-old Gloucester City man was arrested and charged on Saturday, Jan 18, after he charged at police with a weapon that looked liked a pitchfork, authorities said. Officers responded to Princeton Avenue to check on a man, later identified as George Jacob, after he cut a component to the air conditioner compressor which caused freon to spray out, Gloucester City police said. A Rotary Club's American flag display — a tribute to local veterans — was vandalized earlier this week in Camden County, 6abc.com reports. A total of five flags of the 100-flag display were burned or torn from their 7-foot-tall poles on Monday, June 24, the outlet said.
