Family Dog Kills Rabid Skunk In Camden County, Health Officials Say
A family dog was being monitored after killing a rabid skunk in a Gloucester Township backyard, officials said. The Camden County Health Department announced the skunk tested positive for the disease in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Health officials said the dog "recently" killed a skunk in their owners' backyard. One of New Jersey's top judges has been suspended without pay over his TikTok accounts. A formal complaint by the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct was filed last year against Bergen County Superior Court Judge Gary N. Wilcox. Two whales found dead along the Jersey Shore suffered from infectious diseases, marine biologists said. Two whales were found dead along the Jersey Shore about 24 hours apart, officials said. A 62-year-old driver was killed in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County this weekend, authorities said. Troy E. Thompson, of Brick Township, was heading south in a Hyundai Tucson when he veered off the roadway to the left while negotiating a curve exiting via the 38A exit ramp Saturday morning, Sept. 21 around 9:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The vehicle overturned and Thompson died. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available.
