Phillipsburg Man Used 3D Printer To Manufacture Handgun, Ammo: Prosecutor A 40-year-old Phillipsburg man is facing charges for using a 3D printer to manufacture a firearm and ammunition, authorities said.  A search of Michael Weaver's home on Monday, Aug. 26, turned up two 3D printers, a 9mm handgun, thousands of rounds of multi-caliber ammunition, and equipment to manufacture such ammunition, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. Weaver has been charged with manufacturing a firearm using a 3D printer; unlawful possession of a weapon; and certain person not to have a weapon or ammunition.

Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Warren County: Police A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Warren County on the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 16, authorities said. At 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to Route 22 West and South Third Street after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, Lopatcong Police said. All Lanes Closed After Route 521 Crash: Developing A crash on Route 521 in Warren County has closed all lanes on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. The crash occurred on Route 521 at Exit 12 by Dogwood Road and Blairstown Road in Hope Township, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.  All lanes are closed and the exit ramp has also been closed as police remain on scene, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. Emails have seen sent to the Blairstown Police Department and Warren County Prosecutor's Office requesting additional information.

Florida Man Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting 6-Year-Old: Warren County Prosecutor A 46-year-old Florida man pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Aug. 6 to sexually assaulting a 6-year-old in Warren County in 2018, authorities said. Cameron Scrudato pleaded guilty to sexual assault prior to the completion of his trial, Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione, Acting Chief of Detectives Brenton Warne, and Phillipsburg Police Department Police Chief Robert Stettner said. Prosecutors will recommend a 10-year sentence for Scrudato, authorities said.

Black Bear Struck By Vehicle On Route 46: Njsp A black bear was struck by a vehicle on Route 46 in Warren County on the early morning of Thursday, Aug. 1, authorities said. At 8:09 a.m.,, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 46 in White Township when it collided with a black bear that entered the lane of travel, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said.
