Man Who Sped Through Red Light In Deadly Ocean City Crash Sentenced, Prosecutors Say A Galloway Township man will spend several years in prison for a high-speed crash that killed an Ocean City man more than three years ago, authorities said. Ruddy Narvaez Jr., 36, was sentenced to three years in state prison, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release on Thursday, Nov. 21.  Narvaez was convicted in the crash that killed 66-year-old John Andrew on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Two People Saved When Sailboat Runs Aground Along Jersey Shore, Firefighters Say Two people were rescued after their large sailboat ran aground in Ocean City, officials said. Emergency crews responded to the beach near 22nd Street at around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, the Ocean City Firefighters Association said in a Facebook post.
