South Jersey Man Asked For Sexual Videos, Pics From Ohio Girl, 10, On Snapchat: Prosecutors
A Commercial Township man was accused of soliciting and receiving sexual pictures from a 10-year-old girl in Ohio through Snapchat, authorities said.
Michael Romig, 29, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 13, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.
Police in Columbus, OH, notified Cumberland County investigators in October that someone in the county was asking for child sexual abuse material from the girl over social media. Detectives said Romig was using several Snapchat accounts to talk with girls who appeared to be 10-15 years old.

An Egg Harbor City man will spend nearly three years in prison after he was found with violent child pornography, authorities said.
Anthony Barbarino, 38, was sentenced on Thursday, Oct. 24 to 33 months for possession of child pornography, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release.
According to court documents and statements, Barbarino had 93 pictures and 108 videos of child sexual abuse on three electronic devices between Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2022, and Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022.

A Lawrence Township couple admitted to submitting fraudulent asylum applications for clients from Sri Lanka, authorities said.
Zuwairul Ameer, 61, and Claudette Ameer, 63, pleaded guilty on Monday, Aug. 26 to conspiracy to commit immigration fraud, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release. They were indicted in the immigration fraud case on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023.

South Jersey Man Admits Possessing Child Porn Videos, Feds Say
A Burlington County man admitted possessing multiple images and videos of child sexual abuse, federal authorities said.
Dennis Nerolich, 68, of Burlington, and formerly of New Egypt, pleaded guilty on Thursday, June 20 before U.S. District Judge Brian R. Martinotti in Newark federal court to an information charging him with possession of child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.
