24 Condos Destroyed By Fire In East Windsor
Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive. The first responding police officers observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor on the north end of the structure. Police evacuated all residents from the K building. A person was hospitalized after a shed caught fire in Ocean County, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to a structure fire on Riverside Drive at around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, the department said in a news release. A Middletown seafood restaurant suffered a "devastating" fire on Memorial Day, less than six months after it opened. Sirens Seafood posted on Facebook that the fire ripped through the building on Route 36 on Monday, May 27. The restaurant in the Leonardo section of Middletown was closed and no one was injured. Large Crane Catches Fire Near Walt Whitman Bridge
A large crane caught fire near the Walt Whitman Bridge in Gloucester City Tuesday morning, May 21. The fire occurred on an industrial crane near a ship at the Gloucester City Terminal on 160 Essex Street at about 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, according to nbcphiladelphia.com. Fire Destroys 95-Year-Old Woman's 'Cherished Home' Along Jersey Shore
The Monmouth County home of a 95-year-old woman and her son was destroyed by a fire, according to a fundraising campaign. A GoFundMe page said Theresa and James Sangillo's home on Morris Avenue in Spring Lake caught fire on Saturday, May 11.
