Man Killed In Route 31 Crash After Car Overturns In Ditch: Police A 56-year-old Columbia resident was killed in a car crash on Route 31 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to the car crash where they found a Chevy Avalanche had overturned, Washington Township police said. A preliminary investigation revealed the Chevy was traveling southbound on Route 31 north when it left the roadway, striking the guardrail and bridge abutment before rolling over into a ditch, police said. Patrick J. Camilli, 59, of Washington Township, was found guilty after a four-week trial beginning last September in the death of Mary Huber, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Camilli was found lying on top of Mary E. Huber on the floor of a Lexington Township Court home on Oct. 24, 2021, just after midnight, Musella said. A knife was found near Camilli at the scene.
