Natalie D’Angelo believes her beloved dog Zoey, who passed away in March, played a role in bringing Stella into her life. Central Jersey Man Dies While Walking Across Road With Dog, Police Say
A Mercer County man was killed while walking his dog and crossing a road in Hamilton Township, authorities said. Mohamed Ahmed, 63, of Hamilton, died in the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 21, the township's police division said in a news release. The crash happened on Hamilton Avenue near the intersection with Donald Drive at around 4:10 p.m. Investigators said Ahmed was walking with his dog on the west side of Hamilton Avenue when they tried to cross the road "from a mid-block location." Salem Mannequin has been tirelessly searching for her yellow lab Nyla since the June 7 crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway at White Plains Road, she tells Daily Voice. Rabid Raccoon Fought With Dogs In South Brunswick: Police
A raccoon has tested positive for rabies after an altercation with dogs in South Brunswick, authorities said. The fight between a resident's dogs and a raccoon occurred on Deans Lane on Saturday, July 20, according to South Brunswick police. The raccoon was retrieved by animal control and sent for testing.
