Truck Overturns On New Jersey Turnpike In Kearny:

A tractor trailer overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Keary on the late morning of Tuesday, Sept. 17, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. The truck overturned following a crash on the turnpike at the Western Spur northbound exit ramp at Interchange 15W by Route 280, the Department of Transportation said. The right shoulder is blocked as a result of the crash, the DOT said.

Crash On Garden State Parkway Closes Lanes In Union County:

Lanes are closed on the Garden State Parkway following a crash in Union County on the afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 14, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. The crash occurred south of Exit 138 in Kenilworth on the Garden State Parkway southbound, the NJDOT said. Two left lanes are blocked, the NJDOT said.

A Linden man was killed when his tractor-trailer crashed and exploded in Clifton, authorities said. The truck crashed into a barrier and caught fire on Route 3 West near Valley Road and Grove Street at around 9:07 a.m. on Monday, July 22, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said in a news release. Avyaan Gupta was riding his bicycle in Parsippany when he was struck by a vehicle and killed block from his home on Tuesday, July 9. He was eight years old. At 5:34 p.m., Avyaan was struck by a 2022 Mazda CX5 traveling in the area of 189 Littleton Road, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Parsippany –Troy Hills Police Chief Richard Pantina said. Morning rush hour traffic appeared to be moving smoothly on the Garden State Parkway after buckled pavement caused major delays in Toms River. A pavement heave was found on the southbound side near milepost 82.7, the parkway said on Twitter at 5:47 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2.
