A 60-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Friday, June 14 in Vineland, authorities said. At approximately 12:30 a.m., Vineland police responded to North Delsea Drive near West Wheat Road about a pedestrian who appeared to be struck by a vehicle on the shoulder of the roadway. South Jersey Woman Found Dead In Atlantic City: Police
A Galloway Township woman was found dead in Atlantic City, authorities said. In a news release, Atlantic City police said officers responded to a report of the woman's body near the intersection of Hummock and Trinity avenues at around 10:11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12. Police and firefighters confirmed the 34-year-old woman was dead. Investigators were looking into what led up to her death. Two police officers are recovering from injuries after being shot overnight at a hotel in Woodbridge while attempting to track down a homicide suspect. The suspect was shot and killed at the scene, according to New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin. Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive. An Ocean County woman was hospitalized after an SUV crashed into her car at an intersection, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the intersection of Route 70 and County Route 571 at around 3:02 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, the department said in a news release. Two People Killed In South Jersey Crash, State Police Say
Police were investigating after two people died in a crash in Ocean County, authorities said. The "crash with fatalities" happened in Jackson Township at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release.
