Juvenile Bicyclist Struck, Seriously Injured By Car In Camden County: Police
A juvenile bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a car on Wednesday, Sept. 18, police in Camden County said. The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at Chews Landing Road near Little Gloucester Road in Gloucester Township, police said. Upon arrival, officers found the injured juvenile in the roadway. A Woodstown man reportedly admitted to having about a half-dozen beers before the crash that killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, arrest records said. Sean Higgins, 43, was facing several charges including two counts of assault by auto, according to court records. He was accused of striking the NHL star and his brother while they were riding bicycles in Oldmans Township on Thursday, Aug. 29. Teen On Bicycle Suffers Serious Injuries In South Jersey Crash, Troopers Say
A teen riding a bicycle was seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Pittsgrove, authorities said. The 14-year-old was struck on County Route 553 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 27.7 at around 11:35 a.m. Investigators said the teen left a parking lot and didn't yield to traffic. The Audi was traveling north and crashed into the bicycle. The teen was brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No one in the Audi was injured. The crash remained under investigation.

Driver Wanted After Pedestrian Killed In Central Jersey Hit-And-Run Crash
Police were looking for the driver who killed a pedestrian in Shrewsbury, authorities said. The 23-year-old Toms River man died in the hit-and-run crash on Monday, Aug. 5, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said on Friday, Aug. 16. Shrewsbury police responded to a report of an unresponsive person near the intersection of Shrewsbury and Sycamore avenues just after 2:45 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A Rio Grande man was accused of stealing an iPad and a bicycle in North Wildwood, authorities said. Ronaldo Santiago Jr., 40, was charged with two counts of third-degree theft, third-degree burglary, and fourth-degree possession of burglary tools. A Seaside Heights man admitted to attacking a bicyclist who died from his injuries two weeks later, authorities said. Anthony Collins, 41, pleaded guilty on Monday, June 10 to manslaughter, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release.
