Six People Injured In Seven-Vehicle Crash In Central Jersey
Six people were injured in a crash on a busy road in Monmouth County, authorities said. Holmdel police responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 35 and Laurel Avenue at around 1:17 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, the department said in a news release. Officers found seven vehicles involved with one vehicle smoking, as well as large amounts of oil and gas leaking into the road. A Galloway Township teen was killed when he was hit by an SUV and thrown off his electric scooter, authorities said. Stephen Johnson III, 19, died in the crash on West White Horse Pike on Friday, June 7, the Galloway Township Police Department said in a news release. Majanae Burke, of Bordentown, was driving northbound in a Honda Civic near milepost 0.7 in Hamilton at about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 when she veered off the highway and struck a guardrail before rear-ending the Ford F350 pickup, New Jersey State Police said.
