Eric Wise, a 44-year-old sergeant with the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, sustained life-threatening injuries in a fall on Monday, Feb. 10, according to a fundraiser.
Wise's family, which includes his wife, Antonia and his children, Abigail and Kaelen face a heavy financial burden in the wake of his fall, according to the fundraiser. As of Thursday, Feb. 13, more than $31,000 has been raised.

On Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, during a traffic stop, Kenneth Thompson was found to be in possession of 200 wax folds containing fentanyl and $165, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
