Jay, of Hillsborough, died on Friday, Aug. 30, leaving behind his wife, Jennette and their three children, Jordan, James, and Joe. Nicknamed an "All American Hero," Jay was a founding member of the Atlantic Air 1 medevac team and was a nurse at Robert Wood Johnson after having spent 24 years serving in the Coast Guard. Missing Man Found Dead At Popular NJ Hiking Spot, Police Say The search for a missing man ended in tragedy on Friday, June 7, when police found he'd died by suicide in a popular New Jersey hiking area. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the Sourland Mountain Preserve around 3:05 p.m. after Somerset County dispatch was notified by Princeton police that a man had gone missing, Hillsborough Police Sgt.
