Robbers Attempted To Break Into Vehicles, Steal Vespa: Hoboken PD Three people attempted to break into a garage and later steal a Vespa in Hoboken on Thursday, July 11, authorities said. At 9:40 p.m., three people were seen entering a garage on mini-motorcycles, attempting to open the doors of multiple vehicles, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. They were unsuccessful and left, the spokeswoman said. Later that evening, the three suspects attempted to steal a Vespa near the 15th Street and Adams Street but the owner of the vehicle stopped them, authorities said.
