Irvington Man Trespassed At Daycare Center With Drug Paraphernalia: Hoboken PD
An Irvington man was arrested and charged with trespassing at a daycare center in Hoboken on Wednesday, Oct. 30, authorities said. At 11:45 a.m., officers were alerted that a man, later identified as Kevin Nguyen, had gotten into the playground area of a nearby daycare and was attempting to get inside the building, Hoboken police said. A 24-year-old Jersey City man was arrested and charged with biting and spitting on police officers on Wednesday, Sept. 11, authorities said. At 8:10 p.m., officers were on the 300 block of Jackson Street when they observed a verbal dispute between Mickey Mendez and a 29-year-old Hoboken resident on Hoboken Housing Authority property, Hoboken police said. Trespasser Electrocuted On Train Tracks In Newark: NJ Transit
A person trespassing on the train tracks in Newark was electrocuted on the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 12, authorities said. At 3:27 p.m., police responded to the tracks on the Morris and Essex Line near Roseville Avenue and 7th Avenue in Newark on a report of two people trespassing on the tracks, NJ Transit aid. The two were trespassing on an overhead signal structure when one was injured by electricity and fell to the tracks, NJ Transit said. A teen swimmer has died after being pulled from a notoriously dangerous and privately owned lake in Manchester Township. Victor Arias-Peralta, 18, of Perth Amboy drowned at Crystal Lake on Monday, July 29, the Manchester Township Police Department said in a news release.
