Wild Garden State Parkway, Route 17 Pursuit Led By Teens In Stolen Car Ends In Crash: Police Three teenagers were in custody after leading Paramus police on a pursuit that ended in a crash just off the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. The teen boys, ages 15, 16, and 15 — from Newark, Orange, and Paterson, respectively — were fleeing an Upper Saddle River patrolman in a stolen 2023 Honda Civic southbound on Route 17 around 4:50 a.m., Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said. Car Fire Shuts Route 280, DOT Says A vehicle fire closed a portion of Route 280 Monday evening, June 24 in Essex County. Emergency response vehicles were at the scene in Orange as of 7:45 p.m. Two right lanes on the eastbound side just east of Exit 11 were closed.

Elderly Man Missing In West Orange Elderly Man Missing In West Orange
Elderly Man Missing In West Orange Timothy Robinson has been missing from West Orange since Thursday, May 16, authorities said. He was last seen at 4:25 p.m. on Central Avenue near the Orange border, West Orange police said. Robinson is an elderly man who has memory loss, police said. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black sweatpants and a blue hat. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the West Orange Police Department at 973-325-4000.
