A 72-year-old woman has been charged with calling in a bomb threat to Holy Name Medical in August, authorities said. Adele Ulrich, of Wayne, called the hospital on Aug. 17 saying that several bombs were going to detonate in the hospital, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said following a months-long investigation. A dog hit by a car earlier this month on Route 4 is nearly ready for a fur-ever family. Stella was struck by the vehicle in Hackensack on Oct. 13 and taken to Oradell Animal Hospital, where she was treated for broken ribs and a fractured pelvis. Power Outage Update: Storm Leaves Hundreds Of NJ Residents In The Dark
A storm system that swept through the region Saturday afternoon, Aug. 3 left hundreds of North Jersey residents without power. As of 5:40 p.m., about 950 PSE&G customers in Hackensack did not have power, its website shows. In Closter, 145 Orange & Rockland customers were in the dark.
