It's the end of an era for Catholic education in Montclair. The Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Newark announced on Wednesday, Feb. 12 that Immaculate Conception High School will be closing in June, after being open for 100 years. A New Jersey superintendent who was arrested for drunk driving last fall has returned to work and some parents are none too happy about it. George Chidiac, the superintendent for the Stafford Township School District, was placed on leave last year after he was arrested for driving under intoxication last October, after crashing into a utility pole in Berkeley Township, causing a power outage, Berkeley Township police said.
