Antique Car Damaged in Sussex County Crash: Firefighters
An antique car suffered some scrapes in a car crash on Sunday, Oct. 13 in Sussex County. At 4:41 p.m., the Frankford Township Fire Department was dispatched to Route 206 and Broad Street for a car crash with injuries, firefighters said. Three people were evaluated for injuries and first responders dealt with a fuel spill from one of the vehicles, firefighters said. The injured people declined additional medical attention, firefighters said. “We were sad to see such a beautiful antique get damaged, but glad everyone was okay,” the Frankford Township Fire Department said.

Man Killed In Route 31 Crash After Car Overturns In Ditch: Police
A 56-year-old Columbia resident was killed in a car crash on Route 31 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to the car crash where they found a Chevy Avalanche had overturned, Washington Township police said. A preliminary investigation revealed the Chevy was traveling southbound on Route 31 north when it left the roadway, striking the guardrail and bridge abutment before rolling over into a ditch, police said. Two teenagers were airlifted with serious injuries in a North Jersey crash with an SUV on Tuesday, Oct. 8, police said. One person was injured in a three-car crash on Route 80 in Parsippany on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. At 11:52 a.m., troopers responded to Route 80 eastbound at mile 42 for the collision between three passenger vehicles, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
