Overturned Tractor Trailer Shuts Route 287 In Somerset County
A stretch of Route 287 was closed by an overturned tractor-trailer Thursday evening, Oct. 31 in Somerset County. The NJDOT site shows it happened in the northbound lanes at Exit 12 in Franklin Township. As of 6:50 p.m., all lanes were closed.

Monroe Man Gets Out Of Car On NJ Turnpike, Killed By Tractor-Trailer In East Brunswick:

A Monroe Township man was killed when he got out of his car and was hit by a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Michael Veisz, 40, died in the crash on Interstate 95 North in East Brunswick on Friday, Aug. 23, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 81.2 at around 5:02 a.m. Investigators said a Chevrolet Impala driven by Veisz was in a single-car crash on the southbound inner side of the turnpike. Overturned Tractor Trailer Shuts Route 18
A portion of Route 18 was closed Tuesday morning, July 16 due to an overturned tractor trailer. The vehicle flipped in the southbound lanes, north of the Parkway in Colts Neck. As of 8:10 a.m., all lanes were closed.
