Man Accidentally Shot Himself With Stolen Handgun: Ocean County Prosecutor A 58-year-old man was arrested and charged after he shot himself with a stolen handgun on Sunday, Feb. 23 and lied about it to police, authorities said. At 2:40 a.m., Manchester Township police responded to a residence in Whiting and found Richard Rokicki with a gunshot wound, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. He was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said. 19 Arrested During Targeted Crackdown On Drugs, Guns In Atlantic City: Police Nearly 20 people have been arrested in a major crackdown on drugs and illegal guns in Atlantic City, authorities said. The Atlantic City Police Department announced the 19 arrests in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A weeks-long operation targeted drug activity and "quality-of-life issues" in the neighborhoods surrounding Florida, Bellevue, and Texas avenues. DUI Driver Crashed Stolen Car On Route 1: Police Authorities have identified the driver of a stolen car that crashed into a utility pole along Route 1 in Central Jersey. Jordan White, 35,  of Paterson, crashed on Friday,, June 28, South Brunswick police said. He was seriously injured, they said. White allegedly was under the influence of drugs, police said, and the 2007 Lincoln Town car he was driving was stolen.  He was charged with receiving stolen property, driving under the influence, and numerous motor vehicle violations, police said.
