A 33-year-old man pleaded guilty to robbery after he and another man shot the victim four times upon denying them even more money in Ocean County last fall, authorities announced. The victim stopped by a home on East Hudson Drive in Little Egg Harbor to visit Marc Manfredonia, of Little Egg Harbor, and Christopher Miller, 36, of Paterson, around 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 9, 2023, when Manfredonia and Miller forced the man out of the home and demanded money from him, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. UPDATE: A man wanted for questioning in a New York City shooting pulled out a gun in the lobby of a Woodbridge hotel and was killed in a shootout with police, authorities said. Two police officers are recovering from injuries after being shot overnight at a hotel in Woodbridge while attempting to track down a homicide suspect. The suspect was shot and killed at the scene, according to New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin. Authorities have released additional information in the double shooting Wednesday, June 12 in Carteret. Two females were found having suffered gunshot wounds on Roosevelt Avenue around 9 a.m., and were airlifted to area hospitals, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carteret Police Chief Dennis McFadden said. As of 2:30 p.m., one victim had died and the other remains critical, Ciccone and McFadden said. A 21-year-old woman was shot at a large party Friday night, June 7 in Highland Park, authorities said. Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South 7th Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. after getting a call about a disturbance. They found the woman shot three times, Highland Park police said.
