A nephew is appealing for help for his relatives after a fire destroyed their condominium in East Windsor. The fire broke out at about 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10 in the K building of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive, as previously reported by Daily Voice. "This tragedy caused my family to lose everything," Odalys Garcia of Hightstown wrote on a GoFundMe page. Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive. A South Brunswick family is safe after escaping a fire that destroyed their home. South Brunswick police responded at 7:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a home on fire at 4 Beryl Court in the Kendall Park section of the Township. A Middletown seafood restaurant suffered a "devastating" fire on Memorial Day, less than six months after it opened. Sayreville Explosion Knocks Power To 4,300
An explosion in Sayreville injured one person and left some residents without power, police said. The explosion occurred about noon on Friday, May 24 near Main Street and Sayreville Boulevard, police said in a release. Sayreville police said a related fire was under control. Main Street was closed between Sayreville Blvd South and MacArthur Avenue. According to JCP&L, 4,300 customers were without power. There was no ETA on power restoration.
