Heroin, Cocaine: Newark Man Arrested After Traffic Stop, Police Say
A 38-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged after drugs were found in his vehicle in Stafford, authorities announced.
At 10:17 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, Brandon Felix's vehicle was stopped near Route 72 and Stafford Square, Stafford Township police said. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, officers developed suspicion that Felix was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance inside the vehicle, police said.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating a digital scale and quantities of suspected crack cocaine, and suspected heroin, police said.

A New Jersey mother is suing a strip club and the driver accused of fatally striking her 26-year-old son, claiming the club continued serving the motorist alcohol before the deadly crash in August 2024, court records show.

A 49-year-old Florida man was arrested and charged after he was found to be in possession of multiple weapons and drugs in Stafford, authorities announced.
At 12:44 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 North and Mary Bell Road and believed Charles Clemons was in possession of drugs, Stafford Township police said.
