It's been a fight-filled weekend in the football world, including a rare brawl in a collegiate contest. It started on Saturday, Nov. 30, when Michigan upset archrival and No. 2-ranked Ohio State, 13-10, in the Buckeyes' home stadium. Fighter Jets To Fly Over MetLife Stadium For Navy Vs. Notre Dame Football Game
The fleet of fighter jets that many people heard and saw as they flew into Teterboro Airport on Friday, Oct. 25 are expected to fly over MetLife Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 26. Five F/A-18s will be up in the air over the East Rutherford stadium just before kickoff, set for noontime, local police said. NJ Brothers, Former Rutgers Teammates Play First NFL Game Against Each Other In 'Melton Bowl'
One of football's most famous stadiums was the site of a special reunion for a family from hundreds of miles away in South Jersey. Bo and Max Melton, two brothers from Mays Landing, played against each other for the first time in the NFL on the not-so-frozen tundra of Lambeau Field on Sunday, Oct. 13. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Max traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to take on Packers wide receiver Bo in what many fans called the "Melton Bowl."
