$20K Richer: South Jersey Convenience Store Sells Mega Millions Prize Winner
A lottery ticket worth $20,000 was sold at a Burlington County convenience store, officials said. The winning Mega Millions ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven on Tomlinson Mill Road in Medford, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 9. The winner was in the drawing on Friday, Sept. 6. The winning numbers were 6, 23, 41, 59, and 63. The Mega Ball was 25 and the Megaplier was two. Three juveniles from Gloucester County were in custody on Monday, Sept. 9 in connection with social media threats made against "numerous" South Jersey schools, authorities said. Schools in Deptford and Woodbury were closed on Monday, Sept. 9 due to the threats, which turned out to be unfounded. Tolls Increase On These 4 Bridges Between NJ, PA For First Time Since 2011
Tolls are going up on four Delaware River Port Authority bridges between New Jersey and Pennsylvania on Sunday, Sept. 1 for the first time since 2011. The increase on the Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Commodore Barry, and Walt Whitman bridges went into effect at midnight.
