Fleeing Suspected Car Thief 19, Plunges To Death At George Washington Bridge A teenage suspected car thief fleeing police plunged to his death at the George Washington Bridge before dawn Sunday, authorities said. The 19-year-old driver fled from a traffic stop by officers from the NYPD's 52nd Precinct in the Bronx shortly before 1:30 a.m. June 9, they said. The vehicle apparently gave out, at which point the driver bailed and bolted. Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teen In Elmwood Park Brought Back To Bergen From The Bronx Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives tracked down a Bronx man who they said sexually assaulted an underage girl in Elmwood Park several years ago. Jorge Sanchez, 38, became the target of an investigation following an allegation from the New Jersey Division of Child Protection & Permanency late last month that he abused a victim between her 13th and 16th birthdays, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
