Troopers responded to a crash on Sunday, June 16 at 12:10 p.m. on Route 49 in Quinton Township, New Jersey State Police said. Based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda SUV was traveling westbound on Route 49. The boy was struck by a Dodge around 6:35 p.m. on Route 38 at milepost 19.1 in Southampton, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. The boy was rushed to an area hospital and no other injuries were reported.
