A woman has died after falling from her stateroom balcony aboard the Carnival Firenze while the ship was sailing near Catalina Island, California.
Carnival Cruise Line confirmed the tragic incident, stating that the woman fell from her balcony and landed on Deck 5, a lower deck of the ship, according to KNBC, which first reported the news.
