Pedestrian Killed, Pinned Against Guardrail In North Bergen: Police
A pedestrian pinned against a guardrail and "instantly killed" early Monday, Feb. 10 in North Bergen, authorities tell Daily Voice. The crash occurred at 91st Street and Tonnelle Avenue and led to numerous road closures and detours, including at Route 1 and 9, North Bergen police said. One Injured After Truck Crashes Into Home In Elizabeth: Authorities
One person was injured in a chaotic scene after a two-vehicle crash resulted in a truck crashing into a home in Elizabeth on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 24, authorities said. At 5:58 a.m., the truck struck the car, which then hit a utility pole at Bellevue Street and West Grand Steet, a spokeswoman for the city said. A 19-year-old driver was killed in an early-morning Route 80 crash when he rear-ended a box truck stopped in the shoulder, authorities said. A 17-year-old is in critical condition after he struck a vehicle while riding a scooter on the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 27 in Jersey City, authorities said.
