It has been three years since 42-year-old Rajon Collins was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Newark. Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Essex County Sherriff Armando Fontoura announced on Thursday, Nov. 21, a $5,000 Crime Stoppers Program reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the fatal crash. A 43-year-old Jersey City resident was killed in a fatal crash in Jersey City on Thursday, Oct. 31, authorities said. At 8:55 a.m., the Jersey City Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at Sip Avenue and Routes 1&9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Driver, 33, Charged In Crash That Killed Passaic County Grandmother: Prosecutor
A 33-year-old Clifton man has been charged in the April crash that killed a 58-year-old grandmother from Passaic, authorities announced. Grzegorz Wolak was in a red Ford Explorer when he struck Rachel McNeil on Passaic and Aycrigg avenues around 11:15 p.m. April 10, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. A Woodstown man reportedly admitted to having about a half-dozen beers before the crash that killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, arrest records said. A 49-year-old Newark is facing charges after fatally striking a pedestrian and leaving the scene on Friday, May 31, authorities said.
